Quality Control |
The laboratory constitutes a central pillar in the
production process at Koffolk. Purchase of raw materials is
subject to a preliminary lab evaluation. Suppliers are
approved based on rigid QC procedures and are continuously
assessed throughout the year. On reception at the warehouse,
the incoming raw materials are in "Quarantine" and undergo a
full lab evaluation and are released by QA.
At the conclusion of the production process, 3 samples are
drawn from each batch of finished product and sent to the
lab and released only after meeting specification
requirements.
Koffolk is ISO 9001:2000 approved and has also attained the
HACCP approval for its Pectolit production line.
